 Also in October 2008, Capital Coast Resort & Spa was host to actor & singer, Jess Conrad and his wife, Renee, who were visiting Cyprus to raise money for a local Hospice appeal.
Jess was popular in the late 1950s and early 1960s with a number of hits to his credit. Since then his live performances have continued to be popular, with an ovation in 2005 at the London Palladium. Whilst in Cyprus, Jess recorded an interview with National Radio One and performed for an audience at Chillington's restaurant in Pafos as well as playing in the Fikardos 9-hole golf tournament at Aphrodite Hills.Jess & Renee spent their free evenings in Cyprus socialising with Lion Resorts members in the Lounge Bar. |
